Robert Marshall Turbutt's Obituary
Robert Marshall Turbutt, 52, of Albemarle passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in his home with his wife and family by his bedside.
Born July 2, 1968 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Joseph B. Turbutt and Cecilia Whitesell Turbutt. He was a devoted and loving husband. He worked in the construction industry and was a NASCAR fan and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Sherry Lowder Turbutt of the home, step-son Jason M. Smith and wife Katherine, of Richfield, and step-daughter Jill Palmer of Oak Island. Other survivors include grandchildren Katherine Claire Smith and Ben Smith, special sister-in-law Jackie Almond of Albemarle and special Aunt Dorothy Whitesell of Baltimore, MD, brother Chris Turbutt of Baltimore, MD and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
