Robert Matthew Storey's Obituary
Robert Matthew Storey, 41, passed away at his residence in Waxhaw, NC on August 18, 2015. A Union County native, Matt was born February 15, 1974, to Cathy Moore Walden of China Grove, NC and Robert Earl Storey of Waxhaw, NC. He was a heavy machine operator for McCulloch Grading and Land Development.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Survivors in addition to his parents include daughter, Alixandria Leigh Storey and son, Matthew Jackson Storey and their mother Nicole Hardy Anderson of Stallings, daughter Victoria Danielle Storey and her mother Stella Hodge Storey of China Grove, and one granddaughter Avery Rye Pressley of Stallings. Additional survivors include, brothers Shawn Storey and Joseph Storey and a sister, Amanda Storey all of Waxhaw; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 25 at Immanuel Baptist Church 9112 Lancaster Hwy, Waxhaw, NC. Visitation services will proceed the 2:30pm ceremony beginning at 1:00pm. The service will be officiated by Reverend Al Brigham. Burial will follow on the church cemetery.
