Robert Eugene Love Sr., 71, of Hamlet passed away on November 25, 2022 in Hospice Haven of Richmond County. His funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, Dec 3, 2022 in the Davis Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM at Davis Funeral Service prior to the funeral service.
Born February 8, 1951 he was the son of the late James D. Love Jr. (Carol) and Rosa Strickland Love. He was an electrical contractor and enjoyed NASCAR, Western Movies, and Fishing.
Survivors include children Robert Eugene Love Jr. (Karrie) of Matthews, Sandra Altier (Bob) of New Lexington, OH, Sheryl Love of Belmont and James Christopher Love of Charlotte, brother Dwight Love of Taylorsville, sister Sue Ruple (Marshall) of Indian Trail, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and a nephew Brian Love of Monroe. Two brothers preceded in death Charles Love and Earl Love.
