Julia Tsitouris
I met Miriam as a colleague at WUES. Through Miriam, I met Bob. He became one of my mentors as a teacher of writing. He modeled lessons in my classroom, collaborated in planning, and supported my efforts with his expertise. What a pleasure it was to learn from him. Miriam, too, was an outstanding educator and my oldest daughter was blessed to have her as her fifth grade teacher.
Eric and I delighted in time spent with Miriam and Bob outside of school. They were wonderful friends and we treasure our memories! We are so thankful God allowed our paths to cross with Bob and Miriam!
Their love for nature, the outdoors and scholarship was trumped only by their love for their sweet family! We are holding the family in our hearts and prayers! May God Bless you the way Bob and Miriam blessed our lives!
