Robert William Conway's Obituary
Mr. Robert William Conway, age 72, of Monroe, NC, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019, at the McWhorter Hospice House in Monroe, NC.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Conway will be conducted at 4:00 PM Saturday, November 16, 2019, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112, officiated by Pastor Daniel Bigham.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM prior to the ceremony at Davis.
Mr. Conway was born on February 6, 1947, in Sussex, New Jersey, a son of the late Harvey Charles Conway and the late Frances Lott Conway. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Lois Tintle.
He was retired from maintenance at the Morris County Correctional Facility.
He was also a US Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Coleman Conway of Monroe; a son, Robert T. Conway of Elkton, MD; two daughters, Dawn Conway Hiller and John of Harrisburg, NC and Angela Conway Harsley and Christopher of Monroe; two sisters, Jean Alice Pearson of Matthews, NC and Linda Chardavoyne and Henry of Oak Ridge, NJ.; a brother in law, Donald Tintle of Butler, NJ.
There are eight grandchildren, Ashley, Gabrielle, Jenna, Melissa, Luke, Sean, Alexa, and William.
