Rita Lanell Kiker's Obituary
Miss Rita Lanell Kiker, age 57, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Rita Kiker will be conducted at 6:00 PM Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at Davis Funeral Chapel, officiated by Reverend Phil McLean.
The family will receive friends from 4:30 PM to 5:45 PM Tuesday evening, prior to the ceremony at Davis Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Kiker was born on December 1, 1955, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Olin Kiker and Betty Jo Mullis Kiker. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Olivia Watts.
She was a knitting machine operator.
Survivors include three daughters, Amanda Tarlton of Monroe, Felicia Kiker of Monroe and Deshawna Kiker of Monroe; two brothers, Bradley Kiker of Monroe and Lane Kiker of Monroe; and a sister, Myra Womack of Lynn Haven, Florida. There are 4 grandchildren.
Davis Funeral Home of Monroe is serving the family of Miss Kiker.
