Ricky Almond, 73, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at his home. His funeral service will be 3 PM Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. David Cochran officiating. Burial will take Read Obituary
Sandy, I am just now learning about Rick's passing. I am so sorry. He was a good friend to Robert and myself.
I remembered Rick from when I worked at Stanly Regional Medical Center. We often had to work with law enforcement when working with patients. He was always so kind and a gentleman.
Met Rick when I worked at Kmart up on 52N. He was Security Guard. My condolences to Sandy and family.
Spent a lot of time with Ricky as a teen. I could spend the evening sharing many stories during our youth. Rick was a stand-up guy.
Ricky and I worked together many days at ACI. Laughing and serious at times. I enjoyed working with him. He will be greatly missed. Prayers for all.

Ricky was a good person. I worked with him at ACI. His family will be in my prayers.
"Ricky D" is what I called him. We worked together in Transportation at ACI for many years. We had plenty good times and laughs...I remember when Sandy got Isis from the Dog Program and I was telling Ricky how Isis was pulling her up the sidewalk to get to the car! I will treasure our friendship...Sending condolences to Sandy and the Almond Family.
Rick was a great friend and mentor to me for many years. We had many good talks and laughs. I will always be thankful for our friendship and remember the good times we had.
