Rickey Darryl McDonald's Obituary
Rickey Darryl McDonald, 61, of Charlotte passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in his home. A graveside service will be held at 9 AM on Friday, July 14, 2023 at the Salisbury National Cemetery.
Born November 8, 1961 in Richmond County, NC he was the son of Christine Cameron McDonald of Richmond County, NC and the late Fred McDonald. He was a retiree of the US Air Force where he was an Aircraft Mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and doing anything that involved tools and computers. He loved to cook and to grill.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three children Dene' McDonald, Christina Neely (Andrew) of Albemarle, Rickey McDonald II (Erica) of Bourbonnais, Illinois, siblings Alfred McDonald of Tampa, Florida and Delilah McDonald of Charlotte, three grandchildren Anthony Cook, Zaylee Neely, and Sophia Ross.
