Thank you so much for sharing this memory! I remember my Dad played most weekends with his band but never got to go myself since I was too young. My Dad loved his music and talking to everyone. He was every bit the gentleman and had the gift of gab.Â
My deepest condolences to Richard's family. I remember Richard from The Trailblazers band that he and my ex-husband played in in the late 60's and throughout most of the 70's. We all traveled to many, many dance halls for little money playing country music and even appeared on our local TV station in a promo.  Richard was always polite, kind and a gentleman toward me at rehearsals and dances. Great memories sitting at a table listening to the band play all the songs on the jukebox. When my first son was born he and his wife asked to be his God Parents and we accepted. May your memories with him be with you always. God Bless.Â
Dad I miss and love you. I know you are at rest finally and enjoying your heavenly reward with your family. I hope you are dancing to your heart's content, playing your guitar and telling stories to all those gathered around you. You are in my heart and thoughts and I am so sad I can't talk to you anymore but I know you can hear me when I talk to you on my way home every day. I look forward to seeing you again one day. I love you and you are in my prayers for your eternal rest and peace.Â
