Richard William Morton's Obituary
Richard William Morton, 52, of Aberdeen, NC passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 in Washington, D.C. Richard was born June 11, 1965 in Tacoma, Washington to Neil Franklin Morton of Albemarle and the late Wilma F. Morton. He was also preceded in death by his sister Terry F. Knight. He is survived by his partner Michelle Merrill, a daughter Stacie W. Morton, and sons, Johnathan W. Morton and Richard W. Morton, II. He is also survived by three brothers, Chuck A, Morton, Franklin N. Morton, and Gary L. Morton (Ann), and seven grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be Sunday, October 15, at 2 PM in the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Morton family.
