Elwin was a good friend of Jones and myself. We worked with him when he was pastor at Kennedy Home. He was such a gentle and kind man. He was also an excellent preacher who loved serving the Lord as a strong Christian minister. Praying for Ora Lee, Jennifer and other family members. Love you all!

I’m so sorry for your loss. May the God of comfort (Psalms 83:18 Jehovah & 2Corinthians 1:3,4) give you comfort and peace while we await His Kingdom government that Jesus prayed for in the Lord’s Prayer. Revelation 21:3-5 promises us HE will soon end death..... and make all things new.

So sorry to hear of Rev Melton’s passing. I have fond memories of him as pastor of Cherry Point Baptist Church. during my growing up years
