Reid Wayne Barwick's Obituary
Reid Wayne Barwick, Jr, 86, of Monroe passed away on September 24, 2023 in Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. His funeral will be held graveside at noon on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Lakeland Memorial Park with Pastor David Casper Ill officiating.
Born July 8, 1937 in Craven County, NC, he was the son of the late Reid Wayne Barwick Sr. and Margaret Moore Barwick. He was a veteran of the US Navy. Mr. Barwick was a member of Promise Freewill Baptist Church.
Mr. Barwick is survived by his wife Peggy Courtney Barwick of the home. Other survivors include children, Cory Wayne Barwick and Dale Erin Barwick, sister Judy Cruse, and grandchildren Devin Bock and wife Sara, Payton Williams, Kailey Barwick and Rosee Barwick, Cheyenne Sides, Jack Sides III, Taylor Robinson, and Emaleigh Robinson. He was preceded in death by a sister Nancy Cormier.
