Rebecca Fox Haire's Obituary
Rebecca Fox Haire, 80, of Locust passed away Friday, November 5, 2021 in her home. Her funeral service will be 2 PM on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel in Albemarle with Rev. Keith Walters officiating. Burial will follow in Norview Gardens in Norwood. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle from 1 until 2 PM prior to the service.
Born February 1, 1941 in Person County, NC she was the daughter of the late Arch B. Fox and Mary Sue Wade Fox. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church where she had been a member of the choir for many years. Mrs. Haire was the secretary and bookkeeper at Stanly Funeral Home for over 34 years. She was a talented quilter and loved quilting and crafting.
She is survived by her husband Jerry Haire of the home, son Tim Haire of Locust, granddaughter Haleigh Haire Hubbard (Wesley) and grandson Tanner Haire both of Locust, great-granddaughter Oaklyn Mackenzie Hubbard and nephew Michael Fox of Lexington, KY.
