Rebecca Ward Bolick's Obituary
Rebecca Ward Bolick, 96, of Badin, NC and Surfside Beach, SC passed away on Sunday February 23, 2025 in Spring Arbor. Her graveside service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte at 2 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
Born November 22, 1928 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late George Ward and Ruby Akridge Ward. She retired from Reynold’s Metal after 28 years of service. Mrs. Bolick was an avid tennis player and a member of Badin United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Milt Bolick in 1986. Survivors include stepson Michael Bolick and wife Pat of Matthews, a step-granddaughter, and eleven nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Spring Arbor for their love and compassionate care of Mrs. Bolick during the time she was a resident there.
