Raymond Lee Jackson's Obituary
Raymond Lee Jackson, 86, of Myrtle Beach passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024. His funeral service will be 11 AM on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nick Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle prior to the service.
Born November 14, 1937 in Clinton, NC, he was the son of the late Bertis Jackson and Alma Cannady Jackson. He was a member of Prospect Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Alcoa. He loved fishing at coast, loved to play cornhole and enjoyed line dancing.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane Wall Jackson in 2015. Survivors include sons Dale Jackson (Vickie) of Maryville, TN and Rev. Steve Jackson (Bonita) of Albemarle, daughter Deanna Osborne (Steve) of Myrtle Beach, brother R. A. Jackson of Southmont, NC, nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Shannon Nicole Jackson.
