Ray G. Mangum's Obituary
Mr. Ray G. Mangum, age 67, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Monroe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Ray G. Mangum will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112. Interment will follow at Altan Cemetery.
Mr. Mangum was born on September 20, 1951, in Union County, North Carolina, a son of the late John Cull Mangum and Sadie Louise McManus Mangum. He was a painter.
Survivors include his companion, Margaret Medlin Secrest of Monroe; a brother, Johnny F. Mangum and wife Patsy of Monroe; four children, Michael Ray Mangum, Kevin Secrest, Rusty Secrest and Wesley Secrest; three grandchildren and two special family friends, Michael Crocker and Mike Aycoth.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Davis Funeral Service in Monroe.
