Randy Joe Morton's Obituary
Randy Joe Morton, 57, of Albemarle passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte. Funeral service for Mr. Morton will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 2PM in Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. James Hopkins. Visitation will be held from 1-2pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Anderson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Randy was born July 24, 1962 in Albemarle to Jerry Wayne Morton and Patricia Ann Axsom Warren. Mr. Morton was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. Randy enjoyed crafting and was known for making Tin Men. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a member at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Concord.
Mr. Morton is survived by his wife Frances Motley Morton; father Jerry Wayne Morton (Delores) of Mount Ulla; mother Patricia Ann Axsom Warren of Albemarle; brother Todd Morton of Albemarle; step children Joshua Maske, Chris Maske, Alicia Blythe, Kayla Burris, Jonathan Brooks (Katie); step brothers Tim Jordan (Susan), Jeff Jordan (Teresa), Robert Jordan (Mary), Frank Puckett; step sister Sandra Lenny; and nephew Christopher Morton.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather Jack Warren.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Morton family.
