Randy Joel Hartsell's Obituary
Randy Joel Hartsell, 69, of Richfield, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in his home. His funeral service will be 4 PM Thursday at Pauls Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ed Lowder officiating. The family will greet friends in the church fellowship hall following the service.
Born December 14, 1951 in Cabarrus County, NC, he was the son of Lois Nance Hartsell of Richfield and the late Billy Lee Hartsell. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church and was a retired Rural Letter Carrier. He loved deer hunting and crappy fishing.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 50 years, Libby Hopkins Hartsell, two children Travis Lee Hartsell and wife Misty of Richfield and Amanda Furr and husband Darrell of Richfield, two sisters Sherry Webb of Misenheimer and Lynne Carelock of Gold Hill, NC, five grandchildren who were the apples of his eye: Jordan, Savannah, and Joshua Hartsell and Alex and Andrea Furr.
Memorials may be made to the Pauls Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 40461 Pauls Crossing Rd, Richfield, NC 28137.
