Randy Fred Harrell's Obituary
Randy Fred Harrell, 65, of New London, NC passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle. The family will receive friends Friday October 6 from 6 PM till 8 PM at Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care in Albemarle. The funeral service will be held Sunday October 8 at 2 PM at Antioch Baptist Church in Richfield with Pastor Mike Lambert officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
Born March 27, 1958 in Rowan County, Randy is the son of the late Arthur Lester Harrell and the late Leatrice Elizabeth “Boots” Miller Harrell. Randy was a graduate of West Rowan High School class of 1976. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and owned his own plumbing business, C & R Plumbing which he established in 1996. Randy was a man of many trades and had a passion for working with his hands. Randy will be remembered by many with his big heart and the love he showed his family.
Randy is survived by his wife, Cynthia Saville Harrell of New London, three sons, Joshua Harrell (Kelley) of Knoxville, TN, Lucas Harrell (Tiffany) of Charleston, SC, and Jacob Harrell of Little River, SC, and stepdaughter, Angela Willis (Jerry) of Albemarle. Other survivors include three sisters, one brother, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Randy is preceded in death by a stepson Chris Seawell.
