Randy Dwain Furr, 66, of Albemarle passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, in his home. His funeral service will be at 2PM graveside at Fairview Memorial Park on Monday June 12th, 2023, with Rev. Darrell Huneycutt officiating. The Read Obituary

Randy was my best guy friend since I was about 16& the "gang" were always together at Sky City or somewhere just about every night! But what people don't know is the nights he spent on the phone with me giving me advice or just listening and being there for me & I loved him for that! I'll miss his humor,his crooked smile, but mostly his heart ❤️

Worked a lot of shows and events with Randy in Myrtle Beach...Being Albemarle boys we had a common bond..fly high big furr as we called him...you'll be missed
Randy and I were friends since we were about 14 years old! We always talked about trucks and work and politics!! He had such a great sense of humor and we shared lots of laughs. I will miss him.

Jerry and family I am devastated to hear of this, JR had just spoke to Randy a couple of weeks ago. I remember the first time JR took me to meet his best friend Randy, we met at Becky's place in Richfield and had breakfast together. After that we made it a Saturday morning habit to meet up for breakfast somewhere unless I had to work then they would come by Bojangles and get breakfast on Saturdays that I worked. Friday night football games hot chocolate and peanuts, he use to ask me how I put up with JR. I remember one time we went for a ride on our bikes, ride didn't last long, came to an end when a bee flew behind Randy's glasses and hit the corner of his eye, seeing him drop fuel at the BP or Shell, going to Pines for bbq. I will miss his quiet, silly smile. I loved him. My heartfelt prayers and love your Mother and your family during this time.
