Rabon Junior Rollins' Obituary
Mr. Rabon Junior Rollins, age 77, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Carolinas Medical Center - Union in Monroe.
A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 5:00 PM Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Davis Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Rollins was born on September 6, 1939, in Jefferson, South Carolina, a son of the late Holice Rollins and Nancy Melton Rollins.
He was preceded in death by his wife Willie Estelle Burnette Rollins; his son, Ricky Rollins, his daughter, Nancy Rollins, and his sister, Carrie Sue Broome.
Survivors include his four daughters, Lisa Escobar, Carolyn Boatright, and Susanne Laney, all of Monroe, Jennifer Rollins of Kentucky; two brothers, James Rollins of Monroe, Randy Rollins or Wadesboro; his two sisters, Patricia Brantley and Brenda Rollins, both of Monroe. There are fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 26, 2016, from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home at 1003 East Franklin Street in Monroe.
