Peggy Keziah's Obituary
Mrs. Peggy Starnes Keziah, 77, of Monroe, NC, passed away on May 26, 2015, at her residence. A native of Union County, Peggy was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Jack D. Keziah, in 2005. Daughter of the late John W. and Myrtle Boone Starnes. She was a contract grower for Tyson Foods.
Funeral services for Peggy will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Love Baptist Church, 707 Deese Road, Monroe, NC, 28110. Interment will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC, 28112.
Prior to becoming a member of Love Church, Peggy was a long time member of Turner Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a son, Tim Keziah and wife, Rita of Monroe, a daughter Debbie Keziah and husband Wayne of Monroe, and daughter Vonda K. Locklear of Matthews, NC. She is also survived by her sister, Hilda Starnes Fowler and grandchildren Morgan Jordan (Josh), Melissa Calhoun (Scottie), Chad Price (Kelly), Lacie Keziah, Graylin Locklear, Harrison Locklear, and 4 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her two sisters; Louise Starnes Plyler, Lorraine Starnes Ingle, and her brother W. Ray Starnes.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, May 29, 2015, at Davis Funeral Home, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC.
Memorials may be made to Love Baptist Church.
