Peggy Anne Rinehardt Efird, age 72 of Albemarle, NC passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 in the Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehab Center, Albemarle, NC.? Her funeral willbe at 4:00 PM Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel, Albemarle, NC with the Rev. Phillip Smith officiating.? The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM prior to the hour of the service.
Mrs. Efird was born on December 6, 1944 in Roanoke City County, VA to the late Walter James Rinehardt and Marie Edwards Rinehardt and was a member of Hope,Faith and Charity Church, Albemarle, NC.? She was very strong in her faith.? She never met a stranger and was an avid Elvis fan.? She loved her grandchildren. Surviving include one daughter, Angela E. Kessel of Albemarle, NC, brother, Kenny Rinehardt of Albemarle, NC, four grandchildren; Cody Kessel of Albemarle, NC, Brianna Kessel, Logan Kessel, Dylan Kessel all of Denton, NC.
The family will accept flowers, but memorials are requested to Community Hospice Foundation, ?3124 ?Zebulon Road, Rocky Mount, N.C. 27804.
