Pauline B. Roche's Obituary
Pauline B. Roche, 77, Wingate, NC, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019, from a stroke in January that was a result of a long time battle with Parkinson's disease.
Pauline was born December 30, 1941, in Providence, RI, moved to Philadelphia, PA, Levittown, PA, where she spent the majority of her life, and the last 5 years lived with her daughter in Wingate, NC. She had a variety of jobs, but she found the most joy in her last job in the Activities Department at Langhorne Gardens Nursing Home where she brought smiles daily to the many residents she cared for over the 25 years she was there. After she retired, her most favorite thing to do was to spend time with the family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, singing, crocheting, cooking and the list goes on.
She is survived by her five children, Thomas J. Roche (Tracy), Princeton, MN, Katherine A. Martin (John), Robert C. Roche (Betsy), Daniel N. Roche, and Theresa L. Oliphant (Lyncon); sister, Sister Claire Dandeneau RJM; and fifteen grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by parents, Norbert & Yvonne Dandeneau and brother Roger Dandeneau.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 25 2019 beginning at 9:30 A.M. for a calling hour followed by mass at 10:30 A.M. at Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life for Pauline following the services, at the William Penn Firehouse, Hulmeville, PA, between 2:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m.
