Pauline Frances Deery Orr's Obituary
Pauline Frances Deery Orr, 92, passed away on Saturday, August 19th, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday August 26th, 2023 at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care, Albemarle, officiated by Christian Herring. Entombment will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. Visitation will be held Friday August 25th, 2023 from 6-8PM at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care, Albemarle.
Pauline is survived by her daughters; Debora Martelli (Michael) of New London and Pamela Gray of Albemarle, son; David Orr of Erin NY; Pauline is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Christie Johnson, Heidi Hagler, Gregory Orright, Timothy Orr, Zachery Orr, Emily Orr and Margory Orr, great-grandchildren; Remi, Alycia, Draken, Alyvia, Riley, Henry, Holly, Connie and Noah. She is also remembered by her step great grandchildren; Cassie and Brandan, brother; Harry Deery Jr, sister; Helen Tomko and special family members; Joyce Deery and Wilbur Allen. Pauline is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Pauline was born in Chemung County, NY on August 3rd, 1931 to the late Harry and Jane Deery. Pauline is also predeceased by her husband David C. Orr, brothers; Marty, Clifford and Kelly Deery and sister Jane Rice. Pauline was a strong Christian woman who is now rejoicing in the arms of Jesus. She was dedicated and loved her family. She was actively involved with the Three Rivers Quilt Guild and is affectionately known for her quilting skills. She loved participating in community service projects and loved baking cakes.
