Pauline Russell Blalock's Obituary
Pauline Russell Blalock, 77, Gold Hill, N.C., passed away Wednesday June 21, 2017 in CHS- Stanly. Her funeral service will be 2 PM Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Antioch Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Jetton officiating.? Burial will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 6 until 8 PM at Stanly Funeral Home.
Mrs. Blalock was born March 28, 1940 in Stanly County, N.C. and was the daughter of the late Robert Russell and Ruth Stoker Russell. She graduated from Richfield High School served as a Secretary for the C.I.A. in Washington, D.C. as well as secretary with Allison Manufacturing. She was a homemaker and avid gardener and a lifelong active member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Pauline is preceded by a sister JoAnne Russell and a grandson.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, George Blalock of the home, two sons, Todd Saville of New London and Bobby Saville (Beth) of New London, one daughter, Cindy Harrell (Randy) of New London, 3 step-children Ashley Blalock, Bret Blalock (Heather), and Brian Blalock (Crystal) one sister, Jane Forsythe of New London, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
