Paul Wayne Linker's Obituary
Paul Wayne Linker passed away surrounded by family on January 5, 2021 at 5:02pm at the age of 78.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Cephus Linker and Virginia Helms Linker and brother, Scott Linker.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carolyn Privette Linker. He is lovingly remembered by his son, Jeff Linker (Kim) of Stanfield, Bradley Linker (Tammy) of Norwood, Kim Gray of Monroe, Susan Tinsley (Shane) of Monroe; grandchildren, Ashlyn Tonaus, Brandon Linker, Alexis Gray, Tia Geddings, Brian Linker, Dylan Gray, Patrick Linker, Joseph Linker and Mason Tinsley; seven great-grandchildren with two new additions in 2021 and siblings, Brenda Piercy, Elaine Long, Carolyn Pigg, Larry Linker, Jerry Linker, Ronnie Linker and Mark Linker.
Wayne was born in Concord, NC on November 24, 1942. He enjoyed being with his family, church and helping others. Wayne was a Stallings Volunteer Fireman for thirty years before retiring.
Visitation will be held at Providence Church of God, 12474 Highway 24/27, Locust, NC 28097 on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 1:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be following the visitation at 3:00pm with Rev. Jerry Ingle officiating.
