Paul Lynwood Davis' Obituary
Paul Lynwood Davis, 67, of Albemarle passed away April 6, 2021 in his home. His funeral service will be 1 PM Thursday, April 15th in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Apostle Donnie Davis and Pastor Evan Bujeker officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow on Friday morning at 9 AM in the Salisbury National Cemetery.
Born October 21, 1953 in Albemarle, NC he was the son of the late John Davis and Nell Pratt Davis. He was a member of the Albemarle Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Textiles and later worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved golf and yard work as well as barbecuing and fishing. He was also an avid Duke fan.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife Petra Mina Davis of the home, three children Jens Rueckert wife Judy of Powder Springs, Ga, Raquel Davis of New London, and Lee Davis and wife Leslie of Albemarle, four brothers Donnie Davis, Wayne Davis, Johnny Davis, and Sam Davis and two sisters Rita Green, Teresa Wall, six grandchildren Lashavia Person, Kiersten Rueckert, Jens Rueckert Jr., Brandon Cole Jr., Khori Broadway, and Easton Davis. A sister Rachel Davis preceded him in death.
