Patsy Springer Hackman's Obituary
Patsy Ann Springer Hackman, 87, of New London passed away
January 20, 2019 in her home. A graveside
service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 1 PM at St. James
Catholic Cemetery in Concord with Father Peter Fitzgibbons presiding.
Born August 4, 1931 in Decatur, Indiana, she was the daughter
of the late Lawrence Zachary Springer and Cleo Debolt Springer. Mrs. Hackman was a devoted wife to her late
husband Edward. They both loved living
near the water and Mrs. Hackman enjoyed reading, gardening, and doing crafts
including knitting and crocheting.
Mrs. Hackman is survived by son Bruce Hackman of New London,
daughter Laura Stricker and son-in-law Joe of Lake Wylie, SC, 4 grandchildren,
4 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 6
great-greatgranchildren. A son Steve
Hackman preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly and Uwharrie, 960
N. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
