Patricia Berry Wilson's Obituary
Patricia “Pat” Berry Wilson, 91, of Locust, peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Stanly Funeral Home Chapel in Locust, officiated by Pastor Brandon Moose. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. A private burial will take place at a later date.
Born on February 8, 1934, in Mitchell County, Pat was the daughter of the late Harold and Gladys Berry. She was the eldest of five children and is survived by her sister, Alice Routh (Wayne).
Pat is lovingly remembered by her daughters Karen Biddy (Mike) of Locust, NC; Terrie Shaw (Gary) of Midland, NC; and Lisa Auger (George) of Greer, SC. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and proud great-great-grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis Dennis Wilson, who passed away in December 2020; her daughter, Sherrie Wilson; and three siblings.
Pat was a longtime and faithful member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and the Love Sunday School Class. She cherished time with her family, enjoyed playing cards, and treasured her dear friendship with Carol Greene, her next-door neighbor and best friend. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Carol for her years of love, care, and friendship.
Pat will be remembered for her deep faith, her joyful spirit, and the love she shared so generously with everyone around her.
