Patricia Ann Starnes' Obituary
Mrs. Patricia Ann Starnes, age 71, of Wingate, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at McWhorter Hospice House of Union County.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM (Noon) Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1901 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112, officiated by Reverend Joe Stroud.
Mrs. Starnes was born on October 12, 1948, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Reverend Robert Marvin Mills and the late Jane Pope Mills.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Mills.
Ann was a nurse, a dedicated wife and loving mother and grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Donny Starnes of Wingate; three sons, Kevin Starnes of Wingate, Bryan Starnes and wife Tracy of Jefferson, SC and Stacy Starnes and wife Dawn of Monroe; a daughter, Jennifer Martyak and husband Paul Jr. of Matthews; a brother, Doug Mills and wife Kathy of Wingate; a sister, Wanda Munden and husband Forrest of Greenville, NC.
There are grandchildren, Nicholas and Leah Starnes, Austin Starnes, Laurel and Kyle Austin, Lindsay Starnes, Mary Starnes and Tripp Martyak; and great grandchild, Rogan Starnes.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service at Lakeland Memorial Park.
