Patricia Black Battisto's Obituary
Patricia "Pat" Black Battisto, 75, of Albemarle,
passed away Friday October 25, 2019 in her home. Her funeral service will be 2
Pm Monday October 28, 2019 at Lakeview Baptist Church with Rev. Tab Whitley
officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will
receive friends at the church from 12 until 1:30 Pm prior to the hour of the
service.
Pat was born November 11, 1943 in Sullivan County, TN and
was the daughter of the late Rev. Nanual Roscoe "NR" Black and Julia
Elizabeth Morrell Black. Mrs. Battisto was a graduate of Albemarle Sr. High
School and was a retired office assistant with Dr. Kepp and Dr. Mehta. She was
a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
Mrs. Battisto was preceded in death by her husband James
Battisto on October 26, 2010. Pat is survived by a daughter Tammy Battisto
Wingate of Albemarle; son Jimmy Battisto and wife Dana of Stanfield, NC; a
sister Janice Wilcox of Hudson, NC; three grandchildren Shaina Battisto, Kyle
Battisto and Korbin Battisto and a great-granddaughter Amber Nichole Battisto.
Mrs. Battisto was also preceded in death by two brothers Robert Leslie Black
and Anthony "Tony" Black.
