Ora Mae Barringer Hatley, 93, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Bethany Woods.? Her funeral service will be graveside at 3 PM Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Salem United Methodist Church cemetery with Rev. Keith Walters officiating.? There will be a visitation from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Stanly Funeral Home prior to the service.
Born May 14, 1923 in Stanly County, she was the daughter of Samuel C. Barringer and Mettie Huneycutt Barringer.? She retired from Wiscassett Mills and was a member of Full Gospel Mission Church.
She was married to Roy Clifton Hatley who preceded her in death on? July 19, 2003.? Survivors include one son, Larry M. Hatley and wife Linda of Albemarle; one brother, Alton Ray Barringer; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.? A son, Toby Wayne Hatley, preceded her in death.
