Onnie Holt Beeker's Obituary
Onnie Holt Beeker, 90, of Gold Hill, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Trinity Place in Albemarle.
Born November 30, 1935, in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Enos Holt and Talitha Holt. Onnie was a graduate of Richfield High School and dedicated many years of service to Arrowood Mills in Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina, where she worked in Packing and Shipping before her retirement.
A woman of quiet strength and faith, Onnie was a longtime member of Matton’s Grove United Methodist Church. She found great joy in her family and will be remembered for her kind heart, strong work ethic, and devotion to those she loved.
Onnie was married to her beloved husband, Claude Carr Beeker, who preceded her in death in 2009.
She is survived by her sons, Todd Beeker and wife Kelley, and Kevin Beeker and wife Wendy; her grandchildren, Wesley Beeker (Kalyn) of Gold Hill, NC, and Tabitha Beeker and husband Garrett Austin; and great-grandchildren, Stacie Jean Beeker, Levi Austin and Sarah Austin.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
Onnie’s family is grateful for the care and compassion shown to her during her time at Trinity Place.
