Nora Elizabeth DeBerry's Obituary
Nora Elizabeth DeBerry, 71, of Albemarle passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Atrium Health Stanly. Visitation will be held from 6-8PM on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle. Funeral service will be held at 2PM Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Kevin Munson and Rev. Ronnie Pugh. Burial to follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory.
Mrs. DeBerry was born November 13, 1949 in Stanly County to the late James Curtis Vanhoy and Margaret Bowers Vanhoy. She was a retired CNA working with the Taylor House. Nora loved all animals, her family, sitting on the porch drinking her coffee, and sunflowers and roses.
She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Eugene DeBerry and 3 brothers. Nora is survived by son: Larry Eugene DeBerry, II (Sarah) of Albemarle; daughters: Cindy DeBerry Mauney (Chris) of Albemarle, Tracy DeBerry Carpenter (Lynn) of Norwood, Lisa DeBerry Hatley (Tim) of Albemarle; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the DeBerry family.
