Nehemiah Parah's Obituary
Nehemiah Parah, 58 years old, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2021 in Atrium Cabarrus surrounded by his loved ones and the light of the lord. His visitation will be held from 4-6PM on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Albemarle First Assembly. A memorial service to celebrate Nehemiah will follow at 6PM officiated by Pastor Paul Jenkins.
Fondly known by his family and friends as Coach, Nehi, Miah, Pops, Son, Brother, Husband, and most importantly Dad. Nehemiah was born on March 24, 1963 in Grand Prairie, Texas. He leaves behind a legacy full of love and faith and will always be remembered for how deep his devotion was to his family, friends, and community. A Lead Elder at the Gathering, runner, camper, gardener, and avid hunter, dedicated father and foster parent, and humble mentor, Nehemiah was more than any words can encompass or describe. He was made in the purest vision of the Lord and lived his life selflessly and with complete and unwavering love for his friends and above all else eternal and sacrificial love for his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Renee, four children, Joshua, Christopher, Benjamin, and Katie, and six grandchildren, Camden, Mason, Brooklyn, Cashius, Mason, and Austin, all of whom will carry on his legacy and ensure that Nehemiah’s light continues to shine bright both on earth and in the kingdom of heaven.
As stated in Colossians 3:23-24 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
May he continue to radiate unconditional love until we meet again.
