Nanette Sides Sasser's Obituary
Nanette Sides Sasser, 81, of Albemarle passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025 in Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehab Center. A private family graveside service will be held at Plyler Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born January 29, 1943 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Odell Sides and Trula Almond Sides. She was a member of Plyler Baptist Church and was retired as a seamstress at Allison’s Manufacturing.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dennie A. Sasser Jr. as well as sons Mark Sasser and Matthew Sasser (Cynthia), daughters Lisa Rena Sasser and Johnnie Adele Sasser, brother Jerry Sides and sisters Connie Murphy and Darnell Parrish. Mrs. Sasser is survived by son Mike Sasser (Cindy) of New London, sister Marjorie Ann Horton, grandchildren Kristen Chance, Elizabeth Shaver (Matt), Erica Thompson (Justin), Jacquelyn Paul (Prasenjit), Allison Wensil (Jesse), Lisa Goodman, and Madilyn Sasser, and great-grandchildren Karsyn Chance, Jackson Shaver, Isabella Shaver, Caroline Shaver, Jameson Shaver, Elin Thompson, Jase Thompson, Joel Matthew Thompson, Grayson Paul, Lily Paul, Lane Wensil, Luke Wensil, Lyle Wensil, and Dennie Goodman and special Aunt Faye Hatley.
