Nancy Geraldine Simpson's Obituary
Nancy Geraldine Simpson, 77, of Monroe, North Carolina, died Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Lake Park Medical Rehabilitation Center. A native of Union County, she was daughter of the late Marvin Stegall and Fannie Kiker Stegall. She was a retired Cafeteria Manager for the Union County School System.
Funeral services for Mrs. Simpson will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 by Reverend Arval Rushing at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 1003 E. Franklin Street, Monroe, North Carolina. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Simpson is survived by a granddaughter, Tamra T. Megill of Unionville, two "special friends" Kathy Thomas and Matthew Thomas of Unionville and a very special pet companion, "Precious". Mrs. Simpson greeted everyone with a generous and loving smile and leaves behind many friends whom she welcomed with that smile.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wade Simpson, and children, Pamela Thomas, Scott Simpson and Reggie Simpson.
