Nancy Hathcock Price's Obituary
Nancy Elizabeth Hathcock Price, 81, of Asheboro passed away May 30, 2021 in the Randolph Hospice House. Her funeral will be graveside in Fairview Memorial Park on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 1 PM with Pastor Ron Loflin officiating.
Born May 18, 1940 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Windsor G. Hathcock and Edna Elizabeth Hatley Hathcock. She retired from the Health Department in Brunswick County as an administrative assistant. She was a member of Badin United Methodist Church. Nancy was a gourmet cook and loved cooking and gardening. She enjoyed traveling, especially going to the beach.
She is survived by her husband James H. Price Jr. of the home. Other survivors include a son Benny Graydon "Gray" Watts Jr. and wife of Debbie of Greenville, NC, stepsons James H. Price, III and wife Kyung of Honolulu, HI, brothers Charles Hathcock of Norwood and Bob Hathcock and wife Nelda of Dallas, TX, five grandchildren, and a special friend Charlie Whatley who she nurtured and care for from the day he was born.
Two sons Charles Jeffrey Watts and John Lee Watts and a sister Shirley Moody Hathcock all preceded her in death.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice.
