Nancy Furr Parker's Obituary
Nancy Furr Parker, 66, of Albemarle passed away December 13, 2020 in her home. Her funeral service will be 2 PM on Friday, December 18, 2020 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel in Albemarle with Pastor Ron Loflin officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle from 1 until 2 prior to the hour of the service.
Born June 16, 1954 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Jake Furr and Ruby Shaver Furr.? She was of the Baptist Faith and she was a former employee of Alliance Medical.? She enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach and the mountains. She also loved to be around her family and friends.? She always put her family above her own needs and made sure her goodbyes were always accompanied with a big hug.?
She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Bolton (Greg) of Badin, son Kevin Parker of Jacksonville, FL, three grandchildren Lauren Bolton, Jacob Bolton, and Brody Parker, brothers Tim Furr (Melba), Mickey Furr (Tammy), sisters Kay Parker (Gene), Gail Thompson (Colburn), and sister-in-law Becky Furr. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Danny Pigg and by a brother Benny Furr. She is also survived by her best friends since high school, Karen Calloway, Jackie Lowder, and Brenda Talbert.
