Nancy Morris Blankenship's Obituary
Nancy Carol Morris Blankenship, 84, of Kannapolis, NC, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at her home.No funeral service or visitation will be held.
She was born February 20, 1937 in Stanly County, NC to the late Loy Morris and Lina Holt Morris. Nancy retired from K-Mart in Albemarle. Nancy loved her children, grandchildren and her cat Sissy. The more she could make others happy, the happier she was.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Leeper of Kannapolis, NC; two sons, Jack Blankenship of Concord, NC and Chuck Blankenship, of Albemarle, NC; four grandchildren, Harmony Blankenship, Austin Blankenship, Matthew Maudlin and Chad Burleson; four great-grandchildren, Colby Trent Mauldin, Camren Mauldin, Jaden Mauldin and Shirlon Burleson; a great-great-granddaughter, McKinley Mauldin and sister-in-law, Shirley Morris of Locust, NC.
Memorials may be made to Stanly County Humane Society. 2049 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001.
