Nancy Lee Arne's Obituary
Mrs. Nancy Carter Arne, age 76, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, at CMC-Pineville Hospital.
Memorial Services will be conducted at 6:30 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Tuesday, prior to the ceremony at Davis.
Mrs. Arne was born on September 5, 1939, in Concord, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Burns Napoleon Carter and Hattie Lee Morgan Carter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Peace.
She owned and operated a residential new construction house cleaning service, and did a lot of work with the Dan Moser Company.
Survivors include her three sons, Howard "Gene" Safrit of Waxhaw, Andrew Allen Hunter of Waxhaw and Daniel Lee Brooks of Waxhaw; a daughter, Debbie Lynn Safrit of Kannapolis; a brother, Jimmy Carter of Waxhaw; a sister, Gloria Daughtery of Waxhaw; a grandson, Mark Safrit of Waxhaw; two granddaughters, April Safrit of Kannapolis and Sherry Dixon of Kannapolis; nine great grandchildren, Jackson Hunter, Katlyn Payne, Nickolas Hunter, Andrew B. Hunter, Wesley Cline, Allison Cline all of Waxhaw, and Aaron Ashburn, John Dixon, Jr., and Jarrett Ashburn all of Kannapolis.
