I was saddened to hear that Aunt Myrtle had passed..You are all in my thoughts and I pray that God will comfort you in the coming days as you lay that sweet lady to rest.
I have to share a memory that my husband Jerry Meachum, her nephew shared with me so many years ago..He came from a big family of 10 kids and things were hard, Noami, who was Jerry's mom told me how she was always there for her during her difficult times and would come down from Monroe and spend the day and help her..Jerry loved to see Aunt Myrtle come down..she never left without handing him a piece of money as she called it and would whisper to him, " Don't tell anyone"
When we would go to Monroe and had time, we had to go visit with her and sit for hours talking..she indeed was a beautiful special lady and I know her and Jerry are catching up, just like old times.
RIP Aunt Myrtle and give our Jerry a big hug and kiss from me..
