Myrtle Geraldine Bowers' Obituary
Myrtle Geraldine Bowers, age 79, entered eternal rest on December 30, 2014 at Lake Park Nursing and Rehabilitation. A native of Albemarle, North Carolina, she was daughter of the late Claude and Ruthie Bowers. She retired from Lab-Corp where she worked as a phlebotomist.
Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 1:30 PM at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation beginning at 12:00 Noon, prior to the service. The services will be conducted by the Reverend James Parsons of Indian Trail United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Bowers is survived by two daughters, Ann Helms of Monroe, and Tonda Poston (Bryan) of Olatha, Kansas; and one son, Wiley M. Biggers of Albemarle, North Carolina. Additional survivors include four grandchildren, Devin Sharpe and Nikki Forbis both of Monroe, and Brady Poston and Brannon Poston both of Olatha, Kansas; one great- granddaughter, Hannah Murray of Monroe. Mrs. Bowers is also survived by one brother, O.D. Bowers of Kannapolis, North Carolina.
She was predeceased by her parents, and by family members, Ruby King, Roberta Griffin, Bruce Bowers and Josephine Holt.
