Mrs. Lois King Dennis, 86 of Albemarle, N.C. passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in the Carolinas Medical Center-Main, Charlotte, N.C. ?Her service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, September 26, 2015 in the Stanly Funeral Home?Chapel with the Rev. Jeremy Holt and Rev. Tony Sedberry officiating with burial in?the Wadeville Methodist Church Cemetery.? The family will receive friends at the Stanly Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
Mrs. Dennis was born on May 14, 1929 in Montgomery County, N.C. to the late Marvin?Williams and Annie Blalock Williams.? She was a retired employee of Wiscassett Mill?Company and also was an employee of Stanly Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Wadeville Methodist Church where she was a former church pianist.
Mrs. Dennis was married to the late 1st Joshua James King and 2nd Sam Dennis.? She was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Patsy K. Harleson and husband Richard of New London, N.C. Lorraine K. Tucker and husband Jim of Albemarle, N.C. three grandchildren, Lori Argo and husband Kirk of Ontario, Canada, Amelia Morton and husband Michael of New London, N.C. and Marci Tucker of Albemarle, N.C.? three?great-grandchildren, Kathryn Tucker and Owen and Ayla Argo. She is also survived by?her precious cats whom she loved very much.
