Mr. John Kenneth Little, 86, of Norwood passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 in his home.? His funeral service will be 3 PM Sunday in Silver Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Little officiating.? Burial will follow in the Aquadale Baptist Church Cemetery.? The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 until 2:45 PM prior to the hour of the service.
Born June 30, 1929 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of the late Dee and Beulah Bost Little.? He was a retired textile employee.? Mr. Little was a member of Silver Springs Baptist Church.
He was married to the late Evelyn Thompson Little who preceded him in death in 1998.? Mr. Little is survived by son J. D. Little and wife Rita of Albemarle, two daughters Josie Faulkner and husband Joe of Norwood, and Madeline Russell and husband Jerry of Norwood, brothers Jack Little, Richard Little, and Max Little all of Albemarle, and sister Kathleen McIntyre of Norwood, 8 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.? Mr. Little was preceded in death by a son John Keith Little on November 13, 2015.
