Montee Lorene Miller, 87, of Albemarle passed away on October 20, 2015 in her home.? Her funeral service will be a graveside service on Thursday at 3 PM in Stanly Gardens of Memory with Rev. Dr. Darrell Huneycutt officiating.? The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 PM.
Born August 29, 1928 in Stanly County, NC she was the daughter of the late Ervin Lowder and Verdie Huneycutt Lowder Chandler.? She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and knitting.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Thomas Miller.? Survivors include son David Wayne Miller and wife Libby of New London, daughters Nancy Thompson and husband Vernon of Aquadale, Sylvia Biles and husband Melvin of Albemarle and Joy Caudill and husband Dennis of North Wilkesboro, two brothers Dolan Lowder and Byrn Lowder, 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
