Minnie Ward Nesbit, 92, of Albemarle passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 in Spring Arbor.? Her funeral service will be graveside at 3 PM on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Rocky River Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeremy Holt officiating.? The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care on Tuesday from 1 until 2 PM prior to the service.
Born January 2, 1924 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late George Ward and Ruby Akridge Ward and was a retired office manager.? She was a member of Rocky River Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Nesbit in 1987.? She is survived by her sister Becky Bolick of Badin and son-in-law Greg Kullich of Norman, Oklahoma.?? She was also preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Kullich, sister Louise Russell, and brothers Leroy Ward, Charles Ward, Emory Ward, and Les Ward.
