To the family of Mrs. Drake: Please accept my sincere condolence. It breaks our heart when a loved one dies, but because of inherited sin we are all facing the death penalty. Lovingly God arranged for Jesus to come to earth and taste death for everyone. Not only did God save our present life, but he laid the basis for wiping out the cause of death. It is my strong desire to share some comforting scripture with you. At Revelation 21:4 death is an enemy and soon will be eliminated, Isaiah 25:8, Isaiah 26:19 all points to a time when our loved one's will be restored to an earthly life. 1st. Corinthians 15:22-26. Millie was a Spitfire from the word go. From the moment I became her boss at Lowe's she was my sparring partner to the point we had special names for each other. When Millie decided to retire we continued to stay in touch and talked almost weekly just to chit chat and call each other our special names. Millie loved to go to the beach and Â I knew if I called and didn't get her she had on a whim, gone to the beach.Millie liked Â for everyone to think she was a Spitfire but we all knew she was a marshmallow on the inside. The first time I went to see Millie at White Oak Manor Millie was quiet and reserved but as we sat and talked I began to raz her like we always did and she told me she didn't know what I was talking about, she was as sweet as sugar. As Millie and I continued to talk we laughed and when I razzed her she got that little twinkle in her eye and I saw a glimpse of the spitfire I knew and loved. Millie might be gone but we are all blessed with wonderful memories to cherish. Besides, I know Millie is now in heaven giving everyone a run for their money and my heart smiles.Â
