Mildred Price Burleson's Obituary
Mildred Ruth Price Burleson, 86, of Albemarle passed away Tuesday June 6, 2017 in her home. Her funeral will be held on Friday, June 9, at 2 PM at Canton Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Mabry officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 2 PM prior to the service in the church sanctuary. The burial will take place in the Canton Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born May 2, 1931 in Stanly County, NC she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Curtis Price and Ruth Snyder Price. She was a member of Canton Baptist Church.
Mildred was married to the late James Burleson. Survivors include her daughter, Malia Lowder (Alfred) of Albemarle, son in law, Donald Payne of Rockwell, sister, Peggy Talbert of Albemarle, and nine grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mildred is preceded in death by her sons, James D. Burleson and Jeffrey L. Burleson, and daughters, Connie Payne and Ginger Huneycutt.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Community Hospice at 120 N Main St, Troy, NC 27371.
